Founded in 1967 by a collective headed by Teresa Aguiar, Rotunda was the first professional theater group in the interior of São Paulo, originating from TEC - Teatro do Estudante de Campinas.
Since 1984, the Teatro de Arte e Ofício (TAO) is one of the most traditional cultural spaces in Campinas and the only one in the city that has been operating uninterruptedly for almost 4 decades, an unprecedented feat in the region and one of the few examples in Brazil.

Centro Cultural São Sebastião tem Alma (CCSSTA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 in the municipality of São Sebastião, on the north coast of São Paulo, whose main objective is the preservation of coastal cultures, with a focus on caiçara culture. For this, it began its activities with a process of revaluation and preservation of traditional culture, at a time when the activities inherent to it were impacted by real estate speculation, massive tourism, predatory fishing and alleged “environmental actions” that legitimized the expulsion of the caiçara from their living and working spaces.
